Paint the Town Pink would not be possible without many generous contributions of time and services provided by our community partners and supporters.

We are especially grateful to have as our Honorary Chair Lynn Redgrave, actress, mother, grandmother and breast cancer survivor. Lynn graciously agreed to lend her support to Paint the Town Pink campaign.

Late in 2002, Lynn Redgrave learned that she had breast cancer. Together with her daughter Annabel Clark, then a photography student in New York, they recorded her experience in “Journal: A Mother and Daughter’s Recovery from Breast Cancer” a compelling, intimate book. Log on at www.redgrave.com/journalbook.htm or visit AnnabelClark.net.

Lynn Redgrave believes that learning about the risks of breast cancer should be a priority for every woman. We agree. Stamford Hospital and its community sponsors and volunteers sincerely thank Ms. Redgrave for her very generous contribution.

Paint the Town Pink logo and graphics were contributed by Stamford designer Marina Merzel of NextMed. Ms. Merzel donated all of the campaign graphics, and we thank her and her talented staff for their significant contribution to Stamford Hospital. NextMed is the designer-of-record for Healthline, Stamford Hospital’s quarterly magazine and the hospital’s new logo. Special thanks also to art director April Miolla, Stacy Focke, and Kris Ruocco at NextMed for their time and creativity.
